What is an estado parcelario and why is it requested?
It is a technical report that checks whether cadastral records match your property's current conditions: dimensions, area, and buildings. In Buenos Aires Province it is required to sign a deed, and only a licensed land surveyor can prepare it. It expires, so an older report may need renewal.
How much does it cost and what do I need for a quote?
The cost depends on the procedure, area, location, and available records. Send us the address and the deed or property account. An existing plan or cadastral designation also helps. We will send a no-obligation quote with the scope and estimated timeline.
How long does it take?
The field measurement and plan are our responsibility and are completed promptly. Approval times depend on the public agency and vary by procedure. When we quote, we will give you a realistic estimate for your case and update you at each stage.
What is the difference between a land survey, boundary survey, and monumentation?
A land survey measures and documents your parcel in a plan. A boundary survey determines the boundary when there are questions. Monumentation marks that boundary on site with survey markers. They often go together: first the boundary is determined, then it is marked.
